Unlike traditional pyramid style frames where the four roof supports create a pyramid-shaped apex at the top of the frame, cross-truss frames have a center pole which is supported by trusses at the top of the legs that hold the fabric roof in place. Canopy Breeze fans typically hang too low when mounted in the center of this frame type.

Please note that the adapter does not sit in the middle of the frame, but rather to one side. This means the majority of airflow will be distributed to one side of the canopy, however, it is possible to mount two fans in a cross truss frame for more even airflow distribution.
